What a Wonderful Word
by: Louee Armstrong
"I see trees of green........ red roses too
I see em bloom..... for me and for you
And I think to myself.... what a wonderful world.
I see skies of blue..... clouds of white
Bright blessed days....dark sacred nights
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world.
The colors of a rainbow.....so pretty ..in the sky
Are also on the faces.....of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands.....sayin.. how do you do
They're really sayin......i love you.
I hear babies cry...... I watch them grow
They'll learn much more.....than I'll never know
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world
The colors of a rainbow.....so pretty ..in the sky
Are there on the faces.....of people ..going by
I see friends shaking hands.....sayin.. how do you do
They're really sayin...I ....love....you.
I hear babies cry...... I watch them grow
*spoken*(you know their gonna learn
A whole lot more than I'll never know)
And I think to myself .....what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself .......what a wonderful world."

I may be too young, but I have seen how our environment looked like in pictures before I was born, and I can honestly say how pleasant it is to stare at. It is like a painting which you aren't sure if it is real or not. Like the famous Hill in the World desktop background used in most computers, which had been one of the most famous photography. It was taken by Charles O'Rear, a famous photographer, in Bliss, Sonoma County in California. The first time I saw it, I thought it was an art of imagination and assumed it wasn't real. But then, I knew that it was an existing view from this world which really had everyone, including me, amazed with it. I just saw myself admiring it despite of its simplicity. It was just so pleasant to look at.
But, in the year 2006, 10 years after it was taken, it turned out to be a disappointment to almost all of us. It was converted to a vineyard and now it looked a lot different from the Bliss before.
This only shows that we, people though we had a nice goal, may cause a lot of distraction to our environment. Even though we know nothing about what we've done, we still did it and that won't make a change. But, instead of living with the past, why not we contribute in bringing back the world that we originally have.
